Absences
It is the parent’s responsibility to report each and every absence. Please call the school office before 9:00 am and provide your child’s name and class. Your call will be recorded if received during non-office hours. Regular attendance is crucial for optimal learning and development.
Excused Absences
- Illness: Doctor’s note required
- Medical appointments: Documentation needed
- Religious holidays: Prior notification required
- Death in family: Parental note needed
- Personal/family emergency: Written explanation required
Unexcused Absences
- Family vacations during school days
- Non-medical appointments
- Babysitting
- Absence without notice
- Any absence without valid documentation
Early Release
- Parents must notify school before 2:30 PM
- Written authorization required
- Sign-out procedure mandatory
- Only authorized persons can pick up

Tardiness
- School starts promptly at 8:30 AM
- Three tardies equal one unexcused absence
